I got the car a couple of years ago and took it to Vinny at Muscle Cars of Texas to see what it needed to get it run reliably. Vinny is great: very experienced and very honest. I got a detailed breakdown of the parts needed for my pseudo-restoration and an explanation of labor cost. Muscle Cars of Texas is a large, well-equipped shop: any time I've stopped by there have been 15-20 cars in various stages of being worked on. Some of the cars are high end, rare and expensive. A good time to drop-in is a Saturday morning before lunch. Now that my '66 is in good shape mechanically I'm saving to take it back to Muscle Cars for body and paint. If you stop by and check the place out you'll get why I've rated it excellent.
